Leverhulme Pavilion
Requirement
A joint venture between the Port Sunlight Cricket and Rugby clubs was established to construct a new sports pavilion for the community to replace the existing facility that had become old and difficult to maintain.
As a result, it was imperative that the new building feature relevant facilities that would maximise the use of the space, including large changing rooms and shower areas as well as a bar for club members, various sporting groups and the community.
To ensure that the building could be utilised by all members of the community, it was important to the client that disabled access was available throughout the building.

Solution
Following an online search, Wernick Refurbished Buildings was chosen due to their cost-effectiveness, efficient timescale as well as their flexible and proactive approach from the initial enquiry which was maintained throughout the duration of the project.
As the building was located in the middle of a sports field that had very tight access, over 150m of trackway had to be laid on-site to ensure a smooth installation process. Since the area was also very popular for members of the community, over 400m of heras fencing had to be used to ensure their safety.
Our club members have had a tour of the building and they loved it, it’s definitely an upgrade from the previous club house. Many of us are amateur club members or volunteers with very little experience with the construction industry, but Wernick made the process stress-free and easy, they were more than happy to come out to site at times that suited us. We definitely had a very good experience with Wernick Refurbished Buildings.
