As we celebrate National Family Business Day, the Wernick Group proudly reflects on our 90-year legacy as a family-owned and operated business. Since our founding in 1934, family values have been the foundation of our success, guiding our growth from humble beginnings to becoming Britain’s largest family-owned provider of portable and modular buildings and off-grid power solutions.

Chairman David Wernick’s first experience of work with the business was when he was 11 years old on his school holidays, he would be sorting bolts for the manufacture of garden sheds at Wernick’s old factory at Brownhills. He said, “Staying family-owned has been crucial, allowing our directors and employees to work with shared goals, ensuring that growth is aligned with our core values and the long-term well-being of our family and employees.”
