The Wernick Group has been a supporter of the Treloar Trust for several years now, and our donations have helped fund a variety of resources for Treloars, including mini libraries and an outdoor musical area.
Recently, however, Group Chairman David Wernick identified another opportunity to help the Trust: recognising the accomplishments of staff. “Often the staff are the unsung heroes behind the success of Treloars,” David commented. While the Trust did run a staff of the year award, they were only able to offer an extra day’s holiday and a £50 voucher to the winner.
To help the Trust better recognise the contributions of their staff, the Group has committed to providing £500 a year for the award, which will allow the Trust to reward three of their top staff members with cash prizes. “The new prize is a fantastic incentive and a wonderful way to acknowledge the hard work and the extra mile these individuals take to make a difference to our student’s lives,” commented Sarah Adwick, Development Manager for Treloars. The new prizes were awarded for the first time this month.
David Wernick said “I am delighted to be able to contribute in a small way to helping recognise the significant contribution of the three winners to the tremendous success that is Treloar’s. Well done to all!”
