Taylor Wimpey, a leading UK housebuilder known for its energy-efficient homes, is developing a significant new housing estate in Oxfordshire, set to enhance the Didcot area. To support this project, Taylor Wimpey’s Primrose Gardens required a dedicated facility to serve as both a site office and development hub, ensuring the smooth management of the construction process. For this task, they enlisted Wernick AVDanzer, a specialist in modular building solutions.

Wernick AVDanzer delivered an eight-module, two-storey Anti-Vandal modular building in a 4-on-4 configuration, tailored to Taylor Wimpey’s needs. The ground floor was designed to provide essential welfare facilities, including bathroom units and a canteen, ensuring the well-being of site workers. The upper floor was configured as a fully equipped office space to meet the operational requirements of the project management team.

Solution

The building incorporates practical and ethical solutions, such as advanced electrical floor units, an efficient air conditioning system, internal Fitzgerald lighting, and UPVC windows to maximize efficiency. Additionally, Wernick AVDanzer adhered to Taylor Wimpey’s specific colour scheme, ensuring the final build aligned with the company’s brand identity.
