Royal Welsh Show

Requirement
The Royal Welsh Show is a four-day event taking place every year, to represent and celebrate the best of Welsh agriculture.
On every day of the show, television and radio crews transmit nine hours of live coverage, plus evening highlights.
The nerve centre for the media crew is comprised of temporary units. These units perform a number of functions, which can include edit suites, commentary boxes, makeup and costume, web-streaming, weather reporting and subtitling.
The compound is tight, with various production companies all demanding space, and there is little room to manoeuvre.
Reliability is paramount: for the client, uninterrupted service is the only option. The units, for example, are on a different power supply to the production equipment to safeguard against power-cuts.

Solution
For peace of mind, the client sought an established hire company with sufficient resources, to ensure a seamless service.
Wernick Events specialise in the delivery and installation of temporary accommodation, supplying hundreds of high profile events every year.
Working as “part of the jigsaw”, Wernick adeptly installed all 22 units in the cramped area.
Units supplied ranged from our ‘jack-leg’ City Cabins which served as office/dressing room space, to our anti-vandal secure units, which offer greater protection for high-value items.

The Wernick team on the ground knew what I wanted and when I wanted it.
