High-quality site accommodation for JN Bentley
Requirement
Wernick Hire required a high-quality site accommodation solution to support its customer, JN Bentley, during works at the Harrow Hill SPS wastewater site in Harrogate.
JN Bentley, a leading civil engineering contractor, is undertaking infrastructure works at the site and required modern welfare and office facilities to accommodate its on-site team throughout the project. With the contract expected to run for approximately 72 weeks, the accommodation needed to provide comfortable and practical working environments while meeting the welfare requirements of the workforce.
To support the project, Wernick Hire required additional AVflex accommodation units. As the in-house manufacturer and primary supplier of AVflex buildings, Wernick AVDanzer was selected to design and deliver a solution that met the project’s operational requirements while maintaining the high standards expected by both Wernick Hire and JN Bentley.

Solution
Wernick AVDanzer supplied a 10-module AVflex building, providing a comprehensive accommodation facility tailored to the needs of the site team.
The AVflex building was designed to provide a combination of welfare, office and planning facilities for the on-site team. The welfare areas include male and female changing facilities, a spacious two-bay open-plan canteen with both internal and external access, a five-person WC facility, a DDA-compliant WC and a separate shower room.
Dedicated working areas include an engineer’s office, a two-bay planning room, a three-bay open-plan office complete with kitchenette facilities and a versatile multi-purpose office and utility room. Together, the layout provides JN Bentley’s team with comfortable welfare facilities alongside practical spaces to manage day-to-day site operations.
Externally, the building was finished in JN Bentley livery blue external doors and window shutters. This customisation provides a professional appearance and demonstrates the
flexibility available to customers who wish to incorporate their corporate branding into their site accommodation.
By delivering a modern, fully equipped AVflex facility, Wernick AVDanzer enabled Wernick Hire to provide JN Bentley with a comfortable and functional workspace capable of supporting the project team throughout the 72-week programme.
