Epsom Derby
Requirement
This year’s Epsom Derby has been marked as one of the official celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The annual event shows one of the largest races in England with around 130,000 spectators.
As long-standing clients, The Jockey Club required a number of units from Wernick Events. The client needed cabins, stores, ticket offices and toilets to be installed across the whole site.
For 2022, they requested a new setup for police use. Usually, the client requests a double cabin set up with a balcony on top, but as this year is a royal celebration, the attendance was higher, so their needs were different from previous years.

Our staff member, Gavin, who works with us at The Jockey Club, was a previous employee at Wernick Events. Down to the experience and training he had there, he knew all the units inside and out which made the event preparation go smoothly. All the units arrived in great condition and working directly with Wernick was absolutely fantastic.
