Wernick Power Solutions Glasgow Open Day

Wernick Power welcomed customers, suppliers and industry partners to its recent Open Day in Glasgow, offering visitors a hands-on look at the technologies, systems and ideas shaping the future of temporary power and site infrastructure.

Held at Wernick Power’s Coatbridge depot, the event brought together a wide range of equipment demonstrations, sustainable power solutions and educational sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to explore both the practical and digital developments helping to drive change across the sector.

From generators and battery storage to hybrid power, smart distribution and sustainability reporting, the day was designed to highlight how temporary power is evolving, and how Wernick Power Services is continuing to invest in the technologies and expertise needed to support that shift.

Across the site, visitors were able to explore a broad range of temporary power and energy solutions through live demonstrations and product displays. Equipment and technologies featured throughout the day included:

A focus on smarter power management

Alongside the outdoor equipment displays, an important part of the day took place indoors, where visitors were invited to attend live demonstrations and educational sessions focused on WPS’s Power Optimisation Centre.

These sessions explored how WPS is using new technologies to support a more intelligent approach to temporary power management, with a particular focus on data, reporting and visibility for customers. Attendees were given an insight into how the business is developing tools and systems that can help customers better understand power usage across their sites, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and access clearer reporting on performance and sustainability metrics.

As customer requirements continue to change, access to reliable operational data is becoming an increasingly important part of effective site power management. The Power Optimisation Centre reflects WPS’s commitment not only to supplying equipment, but also to helping customers make more informed decisions through improved monitoring, reporting and optimisation.

Bringing innovation and industry insight together

The Glasgow Open Day also provided a valuable opportunity for customers, suppliers and industry partners to connect, share ideas and discuss some of the challenges and opportunities currently shaping the temporary power sector.

With increasing emphasis on carbon reduction, fuel efficiency, resilience and smarter site operations, the event created a space for meaningful conversations around how the industry is responding, and where future innovation is likely to be focused. Bringing equipment demonstrations together with insight into digital development and customer reporting helped give visitors a broader view of how temporary power solutions are changing in practice.

A successful day in Glasgow

The event was a strong reflection of the direction Wernick Power is taking as it continues to expand its offering across temporary power, sustainable energy and site optimisation. By combining practical demonstrations with insight into the systems and technologies supporting customers behind the scenes, the Glasgow Open Day gave attendees a clearer picture of how the business is developing to meet the changing needs of the sector.
