RFCA Merton is the latest cadet centre to be delivered by Wernick Buildings, and staff were invited to attend the opening ceremony.
The evening began with a parade inspection by the General Officer Commanding London District, Major General Ben Bathurst CBE. This was followed by awards for the cadet centre staff, including one promotion; a tour of the building and finally an evening buffet.

Wernick are looking forward to providing more cadet centres in the future. Nicholas Summers, Director of Estates and Commercial Lettings, commented “Wernick are on the tender list for our next project and if they’re successful I’d be happy to work with them again.”
Ben Wernick commented “It was great to be invited to the opening of the latest Cadet Centre we’ve delivered. After so many years in the Armed Forces, I’m really pleased to be able to help our Cadets, and look forward to delivering more of these projects in the future.”
