The Wernick Group has a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System based on the principle ofย  ‘Plan> Do> Check> Act’ to achieve continuous improvement.

  • Hazards and Risks are assessed and controlled in line with the hierarchy of control and to comply with current health and safety legislation.
  • We aim to continuously reduce accidents and incidents and promote safe and healthy workplace environments across all business units.

The Wernick Group has a dedicated Health and Safety website which provides all staff with instant access to up to date Health and Safety information and can be accessed online using a secure login.


The Wernick Group recruits and retains high calibre staff who have many years experience in providing portable and modular buildings. Our teams are some of the most experienced in the industry and this is reflected within the Health and Safety culture throughout the Company. All employees involved in site work hold CSCS cards in the relevant categories.

The Wernick Group makes extensive use of mobile cranes for the installation and removal of portable accommodation. As this is a potentially high risk activity, wherever possible the Company plans and supervises all its lifting operations with its own trained and qualified lifting personnel.


To ensure that employees are able to always undertake tasks effectively and safely, the Wernick Group invests significantly in the appropriate training.

All staff undergo extensive safety courses relevant to the requirements of their roles within the Company. These are in most cases supervised by independent expert training organisations.
