Graduate Training Programme

The Graduate Training Programme gives the successful candidates a fantastic opportunity to learn every aspect of our business.

There will be extensive training in all areas and the Graduate Management Trainees will spend time in our depots as well as out on the road, and will gain experience from shadowing Depot Managers and deputising in their absence, spending time in field sales, the drawing office, the factory and estimating departments.

The Programme will give the successful candidates ample opportunity to develop and grow in our business and achieve considerable career progression within the Wernick Group.

The Programme will consist of the following:

For this part of the Programme you would be based at our factory in South Wales learning how our modular systems and cabins are designed, priced and created. The Programme whilst at the factory will consist of the following:

The location of this part of the Programme will be dependent on the contracts in hand at the time, however primarily you will be based out of one of our divisional offices (Plymouth, Neath, Aldridge, Wickford or Glasgow). You will spend 3 months* on site shadowing a Contracts Manager or Site Supervisor and be mentored by the MD.

When you return to Wernick Hire for the final 12 months the aim is to expose you to all aspects of running a depot. To achieve this you will shadow the Depot Manager of one of our larger depots and get involved with all aspects of management in a role which is similar to that of an Assistant Manager.
