Wernick’s modular hire operations expand with £10 million investment
Amidst a dynamic year of investment for Wernick, their latest venture includes the strategic purchase of a brand-new site in Cannock.
The 14-acre site was bought to catalyse growth and provide improved infrastructure for delivering modular buildings to non-construction markets. These will include sectors such as education, commercial office space, healthcare and industrial.
With demolition already underway, the construction works include the redevelopment of the site, providing industry leading facilities for the newly expanded team, which are expected to complete before the end of 2024. The secure site is strategically positioned in a central location, offering excellent access to key motorways such as the M6, M5, M54, M40, and M42.
David Wernick, Executive Chairman at Wernick Group commented, “We are delighted to announce another significant investment, a great component of our wider growth strategy. Not only will the new factory and offices highlight our commitment to investment and expansion, but will also present employment opportunities for keen individuals within the West Midland area.”
