The Centre of Excellence at Wernick Power Solutions is a dedicated, purpose-built training facility designed to directly address the industry-wide skills gap in power generation and temporary power solutions.
Located at our flagship depot in Walsall, the centre is a part of a £3 million investment into the future of technical training, workforce development, and customer support.
A facility built for real-world learning
The Centre of Excellence has been engineered to replicate real operational environments, giving trainees hands-on experience with the equipment and systems they will use in the field.
It includes:
- 6kVA engine training unit
- Mecc Alte alternator systems
- Fully integrated control panels
- Dedicated training generators
- Real-world simulation setups for fault-finding and diagnostics
This ensures every training session is practical, immersive, and directly relevant to site conditions.
