Midlands Air Ambulance
Requirement
Midlands Air Ambulance required additional facilities to support both its operational teams and its vital fundraising activity. Having previously partnered with Wernick Buildings to deliver modular buildings at the site, the charity was looking to expand its base.
A new visitor centre was needed to enhance public engagement and provide a dedicated space to showcase the charity’s lifesaving work, which is a key component of its fundraising strategy. At the same time, increased operational demand meant improved staff welfare facilities were required, particularly to support crews working night shifts.
As the charity does not own the land, flexibility and future adaptability were essential considerations. The solution needed to integrate seamlessly with the existing modular buildings while offering the ability to relocate or reconfigure if required, making modular construction the natural and practical choice.
