Expanding SEN provision with modular accommodation
Requirement
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council required additional specialist teaching accommodation at Kirkleatham Hall School, a community special school for pupils aged 2–19 with severe learning and physical difficulties.
Having recently completed a £2 million facility-investment project at the school, the Council identified the need for 12 additional SEN places and needed a further building to accommodate that growth.
As a previous supplier, Wernick Refurbished Buildings was selected based on its prior performance and reliability in this education sector.
- Client name: Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council
- Project name: Classroom accommodation for SEN provision
- Sector: Education
- Location: Kirkleatham, Redcar
- No. of modules: 6
- Accommodation type: Refurbished modular classroom block
The building feels brand new, it’s spacious, high-quality and nothing like a temporary classroom. It has created a lovely, permanent-feeling environment for our pupils, and they absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend Wernick Refurbished Buildings.
