Contracts Administrator

Wernick Buildings are seeking a Contracts Administrator to work in their busy Contracts office on a full-time basis; this is a key position with financial responsibility. Hours of work are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Skills and experience

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous experience within the construction industry is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given

Duties to include

  • Maintain all the Contracts records and assist on such as may be required
  • Type all correspondence for Contracts Department
  • Raise standard monthly valuations as directed by Contracts Managers
  • Add all Variation Quotations to monthly Valuations
  • Take-up references and maintain records on sub-contractors
  • Take messages for Contracts Manager
  • Type sub-contractor orders and variation orders
  • Produce site programmes
  • Maintain archive files and register
  • General maintenance of Contracts files
  • Take telephone calls and relay messages as required
  • To issue RAMS, CPP’s etc as and when required
  • Compile O & M Manuals
  • Any other duties as may be agreed from time to time
