BST Hyde Park
Requirement
BST at Hyde Park offers avid concertgoers 10 days of live acts over three music-filled weekends. From June 24th to July 10th, Central London has seen the likes of Elton John, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Duran Duran, Pearl Jam, and Adele.
For Wernick, the British Summer Time event is considered smaller than other events (footprint-wise). Even though it is seen to be a small location on foot, Wernick Events were asked to supply and deliver over 100+ specialized units to the big smoke for the 65,000+ attendees per concert. As the event is situated in the city of London, the location itself brings multiple obstacles to the task at hand. Tight schedules, imminent changes, and removal plans were to be heavily considered in the development stages of the project.

Solution
As per the client’s request, Wernick was able to deliver event production cabins, artist dressing rooms, ticket offices, containers, mains toilets, and disabled access toilets. A specialized ticket booth with units that link together at each end to give the client 15 windows to enable customers to collect tickets and access event information.
Being in the middle of the capital has brought its own challenges. However, the Wernick team undertook meticulous planning to approach this project’s needs. With extremely tight schedules mapped out, they arranged their plan months in advance. Due to their hard work and plans, Wernick was able to deliver and install over 120+ units within seven days and all equipment was removed in under a week.
Just wanted to thank Paul Fuller and his team for all their hard work at BST this year. With over 120 cabins to install and derigging on a busy site, the logistics of which were flawless.
