Wernick Hire Make ATCO Acquisition
1500 units Acquired from ATCO Structures and Logistics UK Ltd.
On the 1st November 2013 Wernick Hire acquired the cabin and modular building assets of Atco Structures and Logistics UK Ltd.
As a result of this acquisition the available hire fleet has increased by 1500 units.
Based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, ATCO are one of the UK’s most established providers of portable cabins and modular buildings for hire in the United Kingdom, with an annual turnover of £2.5 million.
David Wernick, Chairman of the Wernick Group, commented, “We are delighted with this aquisition. The deal represents a continuation of our policy to expand through both acquisition and organic growth, backed by an industry leading building quality and service excellence.”
Wernick Hire has now invested in excess of £40 million in the last two years in both acquisitions, building fleet and freehold sites for depots.
