Wernick Group Charitable Donations Since 2016 Exceed £300,000
The Wernick Group is a strong believer in the power of charities, which is why over the past two years a total of £300,000 has been donated to charitable organisations.
Chairman David Wernick commented “I think we’re very much a business that is focused on people, whether that’s our customers, suppliers or staff, and I think that’s reflected in the charities we donate to as a Group as well. Our major focus is to provide financial help to enable disadvantaged and disabled young people achieve their true and full potential. Of course, we also like to help staff with their own charity efforts with our Fund-Matching scheme.”
Alongside Wernick Group donations, all members of staff within the Group can apply to a Charity Fund-Matching Scheme, which matches charity fund raising up to a value of £500. Since its launch staff have arranged charity jumper days, run ultramarathons and even cut off their hair for good causes, all supported by contributions from the scheme.

Treloar’s is a School and Trust which provides education, care, therapies, medical support and independence for young people with complex physical and mental disabilities. Their aim is to prepare these young people for adult life, giving them the confidence and skills to achieve their full potential.
Wernick’s donations have been used to fund a variety of resources for the School, including a number of mini-libraries for reading spaces, a visual impairment advisor to assist visually impaired students and most recently financial help towards the school’s new Forte Forest; an outdoor musical area.
London Youth is on a mission to improve the lives of young people in London, challenging them to become the best they can. They provide opportunities outside of school for young people to have fun with their friends, to learn new skills, to make a positive change in their communities and to shape the city they live in.
Our donations have helped fund sports development programs and inclusive residential experiences where students live, and learn, outside the family home. They enable young people to come together, irrespective of background or ability, to have fun whilst learning about each other and working as a team.
Based in Stoke Mandeville, the home of the Paralympic movement, WheelPower is at the heart of wheelchair sport. From first-timers to Paralympic medallists, they support and promote participation at all ages and ability levels.
Our contributions helped Wheel Power purchase a new wheelchair frame designed for fencing, which the charity hopes will help introduce more disabled people to the sport.
