First New Head Office Building Takes Shape
The modules for the first building, which will house the Wernick Buildings & Wernick Hire teams at the Head Office, have been delivered.
Craning took place last week and work is currently underway preparing the PMflex® building for its new residents. The building modules were manufactured at the factory in Kenfig, South Wales before being transported to Wickford.
The PMflex® building is expected to be completed by end of March and will be situated alongside the existing Head Office. The interior of the building will be finished to a high quality, with elements branded in Wernick corporate colours. Group staff will move to a new Swiftplan® building, which will be completed a few weeks later.
The new Group offices building will be situated across the road in an area specifically bought for the project. Designed around our new Swiftplan® system, this building (also manufactured at the Kenfig factory) aims to demonstrate the possibilities of Wernick’s modular products.
In October 2018, an investment of £3 million was announced for this project. It marks the most substantial redevelopment of the Head Office since it was originally purchased from Secometric in 1980.
David Wernick commented: “We’re very excited by this new development and we are looking forward to moving into our beautiful new offices.”
