BAM hires Wernick secure accommodation for £40m hospital project

The £40m first phase of a major project at Swansea’s Morriston Hospital will include the creation of new tiered car parking facility that will be landscaped into the gently sloping grounds of the hospital. In addition an existing helicopter landing pad will be relocated above the car park to make best use of available space and new access roads constructed to aid the flow of traffic in and out of the hospital grounds. 

The nerve-centre for this Welsh Assembly Government plan to improve the services offered by the hospital is the site office of international construction giant BAM Construction.  Supplied to BAM by Wernick Hire, the two-storey, six-on-six linked secure modular units that comprise the office offer high levels of site accommodation and security and include offices and meeting rooms on the first floor and a kitchen, drying room, canteen, toilets, and sub-contractors’ offices on the ground floor.

The system was supplied finished in BAM’s corporate colours of orange and green.
